my gmat-1 experience

Yesterday i had my first GMAT exam , i had been preparing for the D-day for last 3-4 months and had written a few rehearsal tests as well and so i am not at all surprised with the scores.
Being a non-native speaker (yes, you can use 'being' with a noun , God damn !!) , i have a little weak hold on verbal part of the exam and as such it has taken a huge toll on me .
while i managed to finish the Quant before 1 min + more than 30 secs , i struggled to finish the verbal section and in the end guessed last 3-4 question in verbal section .
Though i am little disappointed with my verbal score , i have decided not to give up on it and not bow down to GMAT just because i am not a native speaker.
I think there are enough of posts on 'my gmat experience' so i will not swamp gmatclub with my writing but all i will suggest new test takers , especially those whose first language is not english, PLEASE READ AND COMPREHEND TONS OF ARTICLES . if require,go to basic , make notes, build vocabulary and do not sign up for exam until you get your dream score in rehearsal test .
