I started my GMAT journey with a clear goal: to pivot from engineering into product management or business development. Coming from a technical background, I knew the quant section would be manageable, but verbal was going to be the real challenge. I gave myself about 3 months to prepare seriously, balancing study time with a full-time job. I was very weak in Verbal to improve I used
Manhattan Prep books and read all the strategies with full devotion , this helped me increase my accuracy percentage by at least 20 points.
I primarily used
Magoosh for structured learning and
GMAT Club for practice questions and strategy tips.
Magoosh’s video explanations were incredibly helpful, especially for verbal concepts like sentence correction and critical reasoning. GMAT Club, on the other hand, was my go-to for high-quality practice questions and understanding how top scorers approach problems.
