I am novice on this site. I have a long desire to take my Ph.D. on MIS. For this I want to sit for GMAT exam on January 2012. The time is too short. So I need suggestions from you. My Preparation starts from 31 October 2011.

Start by browsing the forums...there are a lot of threads recommending the best books/exams and help answer qsns in the verbal/quant forum also. Read up on mba.com and download GMAT Prep and do a diagnostic test and see where your initial ability lies.

Day 1 (31-10-2011) - Arithmetic Review in Princeton Review

Today I read through pages 1-83 in the Princeton Review book. The lessons I covered today were basic math principles and arithmetic.

I have to work a lot. Success means never feel tired.

Looks good so far. Referring to my post above again, this site really offers a lot of good material including summaries for each topic. Start answering questions on verbal/quant and looking at how people solve questions to give you more techniques. Keep it going!
