What happens after you complete the two free GMATprep exams? Do the questions get recycled? (I've not taken an official gmatprep test yet.)

You can choose to retake them as many times as you want. The general consensus is that there's little to no repeats for the first retake and the number goes up after that, especially for the higher level questions. And yes, the question pool is finite.

Hi Guys,

i have been preparing for GMAT for quite some time now and below are the results of the practice tests that i gave :

Princeton Test1 : 670 (M 44 (29/37)/ V 39(31/41))
Princeton Test2 : 710 (M 51 (35/37)/ V 37(34/41))
Princeton Test3 : 650 (M 47 (34/37)/ V 34(31/41))
Princeton Test4 : 650 (M 51 (36/37)/ V 30 (28/41))

I feel that there was something wrong with the scoring on test 3 as even though i got just 3 ques wrong in Maths..i just scored 47 which lowered my score pretty much. Any one else had this problem?

MGMAT Test1 :690 (M 45/ V 38)
MGMAT Test2 :660 (M 47/ V 33)
MGMAT Test3 :720 (M 47/ V 41)
MGMAT Test4 :720 (M 47/ V 41)
MGMAT Test5 :710 (M 50/ V 36)
MGMAT Test6 :710 (M 48/ V 38)

PowerPrep 1 :690 (M 47/ V 34)
PowerPrep 2 :660 (M 49/ V 29)
PowerPrep 3- Retake :660 (M 50/ V 30)
PowerPrep 4 - Retake:Skipped the score by mistake but guess got a glimpse that score was starting with 7 so must be 700 or so. Maths was 27/ 37 and Verbal was 32/41.

PowerPrep 5 - Retake:760 (M 50/ V 41)......owe this score to some repeat verbal questions but quants questions were hardly repeated.

I have my test in 2 weeks and I am not feeling confident that I will touch 700 which is my target. With my progress above, can anyone guess the score that I should expect. Any moral boost up right now will help!

It will be easier for you to touch 700 if you maintain a very high Quant score (which seems quite do-able from your record) Make sure you read each question properly and ensure you read the actual question stem again before marking your answer to ensure that you are giving what they asked for. I think careless mistakes are the ones that could get your score down, otherwise you stand a good chance. Plus, make sure you keep your energy level high by eating something during the breaks.. I remember by the time I got to 15th question of the Verbal section, I wanted to run away and not look at another monitor for a year!
