I scored a 695 on the GMAT using TTP and I would strongly recommend it. When I first started studying, I was mostly self-studying by doing random practice questions and taking a few practice tests. I wasn’t following any real plan, and it quickly became obvious that my foundation wasn’t strong. I was getting easy and medium questions wrong because a lot of the material was stuff I hadn’t seen since high school. I realized that just grinding practice problems wasn’t enough and I needed to actually relearn the concepts.
So I enrolled in TTP’s instructor-led course. The lessons themselves were in-depth and did a great job of building concepts from the ground up instead of assuming you already knew everything. The flashcards and quizzes were especially helpful for reinforcing what I had learned, and later in my prep I liked being able to create custom tests using only the hardest problems or focusing on specific weak areas.
Beyond the content itself, the biggest benefit for me was the structure. Having scheduled classes and weekly homework kept me accountable and gave me concrete goals each week instead of wondering what I should study next. It made it much easier to stay organized and consistent.
I also made it a point to participate in class. My instructor noticed that I was finishing the in-class problems early and started sending me additional practice questions to work on outside of class. Whenever I had questions, he was always willing to help, even outside of our scheduled sessions.
Probably the most valuable thing I gained was learning how to approach the exam itself. My instructor taught me when it was better to cut my losses and move on from a question instead of spending several minutes trying to force a solution. He also encouraged us to think about the test in groups of five questions to stay on pace, which helped me avoid falling behind on timing. Those strategies made me feel much more in control on test day.
Overall, TTP helped me rebuild my foundation, stay accountable with a structured study plan, and develop better test-taking strategies. It completely changed the way I approached the GMAT and was the most helpful tool I had in my prep.
