....intimidates me all the more. Boy! The Kaplan LSAT passages are long, tough and awefully boring! Its just hard to keep at them, and stay focussed.......Here's how bad it is .... I'm taking about double time doing RC practice tests from Kaplan verbal Guide, and its not like the accuracy is any great shakes....66-75% correct!

What should be my methods of improving on RC....Is it unreal to take the GMAT in about 3 weeks with these results if I'm targetting for 720+ ???? :?

Ruhi's RC post has the website for practicing RCs....Any reviews on that since it has no explanations?

Any additions or stresses from Ruhi's posts will be greatly appreciated!

What r ur practice scores ? RC skills r something that can't be built overnite. Having said that, u still can improve with practice. First off, attitude is imp. If u have this mindset that u hate RCs and u fear them, then there is no way out of it, u can't crack them. U shud try to mold ur mind in such a way that when u see an RC u wud be inclined to think of it as a psg which is interesting and which will provide u some new knowledge that u didn't have before. Once u practice RCs with this mindset, I guarantee u will see some +ve results. Most imp, keep emotions out of GMAT. Work like u r some robot with no fear, no rigid minset. Be flexible with the test and take each question just as any other and not by what type of ques it is.

Ok.......I did the 1st Full Powerprep test(without essays) and I got a terrible score of 590(78%ile in Math and 43%ile in verbal).

:cry: I did notice that the mistakes in Math were silly, I could do most of the qs correctly after I revisited my mistakes. By the time I got to verbal, my thinking got a bit cloudy and I approached most of the problems very mechanically(that is, not much thought put into them after about finishing the 1st half or so part of the verbal Section). I certainly know I can improve a lot in Math by just paying more attention to details but as for verbal, looks like I need practice in all areas, mostly in RC for which I've not come up with an effective approach. :cry:

But, I am very positive that I can reach my goal of 700+ and I'm willing to do whatever it takes!
