Hey Guys, I really appreciate the help and the experts wisdom little bit about my GMAT story!
This is bullet point update to my previous story and struggle with GMAT!Score i am aiming for 680-710
Lets start with my
exams:
September Score:520(Q35 and V27)
December Score: 530(Q36 and V27)
Mocks exams
MGMAT scores are 580,610,620,640,650,610
Storyi'm not so good on Quant and frankly never really enjoyed math so naturally Quant section of GMAT is my nightmare,
i started studying around April with Manhattan Foundation/ and the 9 books and doing
OG 13 on daily basis, my first exam was on August but because of my job change and constant stress i did not prepare properly for the exam and got 520 with Q35 and V27 which was surprising as my Verbal never went below 35s but RC was intense that day(one about pulsating star another about microbes), after April i decided to get my stuff together and hired a private tutor, now he taught me interesting materials and prepped me mainly in Quant while also improved my SC and advised to take all GmatClub test ;however, when is started taking them i just understood how much i did not know, we studied with him absolute values geometry and algebra and arithmetic but my scores were around low 30's and some even at 27, the problem now
My Strategy for 2018
I will take two month starting with 500-600 Level and moving up the ladder by doing each topic again with harder questions, I usually feel comfortable with Verbal but my score is abysmal, its interesting to note that in my MGMATs my verbals hovers around 35's but in my both exams i got 27 which is very surprising to me, Sources i plan to use: all my previous OGS, Error-logs, GMAT club, tutor handouts, and i'm planning to buy epower-gmat heavily focus on Quant to get it up 44 and focus on quality of verbal hoping to get it at least above 38, study patterns 2-3 hours weekdays and 5-6 hours weekend, my problem was i did not study properly usually ending up in YouTube or reading news
any suggestions & analysis will be helpful!!!
