Hi,
First i want to apologize for my bad english
i took my GMAT test this week and my score was very very bad. My score was 340 (25q,13v).
im planing to retake the test in April 2nd.
I spent one months preparing for the test (2 hours/day average). English is not my first language.
i finished all math sets from (official GMAT review). all sentence corrections, and only first 20 questions from critical reasoning section, nothing for reading comprehensive)
I've read MGMAT correct sentence book (just reading!!) and I understood all chapters except idioms chapter.
I've read The PowerScore GMAT Critical Reasoning Bible.
My target is 500. (don't lough!!)
my weakness is the verbal section
when i read the MGMAT SC book i understood all rules but when i see a problem i cant solve because i dont know what should i do and how to solve.
CR is also bad but it is better than the SC.
RC is the one I do not know how to deal with, because my English is poor and sometimes can't understand what I'm reading, also i spend long time reading the passage.
i've done to GMATPrep tests
first time 340 (1 month ago)
second attempt: 410 (q32,v16) (a week before the real test)
I know that 500 is a piece of cake for most of you, but for me is like a dream.
Know, what is the best plan to score 500. should i spend more time on Quant section, or should I strenght my verbal.
Please give an advice me

how much time do you have realistically speaking? i would suggest targeting areas in which you have a better chance for improvement. for example, it looks like both SC and PS would be ideal targets to start. (obviously your RC will need work, but it'll probably take the longest time to add any marginal value to your score).
i know you've read the MGMAT SC book, but did you seriously do all the question problems at the end of each chapter? also, do you fully understand the concept? (versus just memorizing concepts).
also, how often do you go back to review (and re-review) those that you got wrong or thought uncertain in the OG book. this step is, i believe, the most crucial of your studying process. i would suggest retaking those you got wrong today in the SC and PS sections (hopefully you didn't write on the book, but instead wrote your answers on another sheet) and spending a bulk of your time going over the explanations (even for those that you got right) in the back of the OG book...
after you secure > 80% right on these starting sections, then move on to DS and CR. do the same... go back to the problems in the OG book that you have already done but missed, and start reading/reviewing the explanations. take notes if you have to!!! repetition and writing out what you learn (i.e., writing out a "cheat sheet") helped me a lot.
