i got my toefl score some time back and i was very happy to see the score..
got 118..
Reading 30
Listening 30
Speaking 28
Reading 30
i was aiming for a 100+ score as thats the minimum i need to apply
to the universities i'm interested in..
I only used ETS official guide for my preparation along with videos by 'notefull' on youtube..
studied for 7 days ... until the night before the exam i had only prepared for the reading and
listening section...practiced all the RCs in the official guide and practiced all the listening
questions from Official Guide...
The night before the exam , i saw all the videos by joseph [of notefull] on youtube..
made notes on the templates given by him and then just memorized the notes..also i made
a point to jot down some important instructions given in the videos..
in the speaking and writing sections , i just noted the data i needed and plugged them into the templates and viola.. my answers were ready..
perhaps the biggest things i would say to keep in mind are
1] dont lose focus/concentration ...toefl is a
long test and requires utmost attention
2]
relax
... on test day .. you're doing better than you think you are...
3] between sections .. during the instructions screen...write down the memorized templates on the scratch paper provided so as to
save valuable time .. proves pretty helpful...
cheers
