(1) n can be 6.308, 6.318, 6.328 or 6.338. Insufficient. Cannot determine a unique value for m.
(2) n can only be 6.338, therefore m=3
Hence, statement 2 alone is sufficient (B)

kungfury42 I'm a little confused by your answer, I thought 8 was the thousandth digit after the decimal in the question 6.3m8.
hence shouldn't the answer be B as statement 2 says that if rounded to the nearest 100th digit it would be 6.34 and if 8 is the 1000th digit it should be 6.338?
