My GMAT adventure, hoping that helps the prospective GMAT owners!
The day before: I left work early (6 pm) and got home and had a practice test, but not gave my whole mind to it. Also I did not check my score. Went to bed early..
I got the afternoon test. I know my mind works really well at night, but can do nothing in the morning, I got the closest one to evening (2 pm). I got up at 9 am, had a good breakfast, listened to some music while reading the AWA pointers (mostly chill out). Then I solved some practice questions. Ate a lot of chocolate.
I walked to the exam center. It really helped me get a breath.
At the test center, I panicked a bit, and with the help of like 5 cigarettes, I was back in shape before the exam. I continued to eat chocolate lol
The test was easier than I expected. At a point, I thought they are easier because I was doing an awful test. AWA topics were easy. Verbal seemed a little hard.
I was expecting a mid-600 score at the end of the test. I looked down when that hourglass appeared, and did not look up for 30 seconds, more or less.
When I looked up, I first saw my *10, and without looking to the left, a big disappointment was upon me. When I saw the 7, I began shaking!
Never give up, I suppose...
