The Manhattan guides are really great stuff. If you are not yet confident with your quant score, get them! They provide great strategies that save you a lot of time. And saving time is always relevant on the GMAT.

MGMAT probably produces the best math guides available, so go with those. The three OG books should only be used for question practice to reinforce what you learn from the Manhattan guides.

I don't know much about the RC 99 material, so cannot comment. The Powerscore RC Bible (an LSAT book) and the MGMAT RC guide are the usual books mentioned, but these are unnecessary for most test takers.

Hi milind1125,

Sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with your Kaplan course--although I'm glad to see that, one way or another, we helped your score improve significantly over the course of your practice tests!

Differently people learn differently, and MGMAT has some good material. If you feel like their books are better suited to your learning style, I encourage you to go for it. However, don't give up on Kaplan! One of the greatest strengths of our course is our satisfaction guarantee. It doesn't matter that you scored over a hundred points higher on your real test than on your diag: if you want to extend your access and/or study with us again, you can do so free of charge. It would be a shame to let such a valuable resource go to waste--if nothing else, the optional quizzes and Quiz Bank will give you hundreds, if not thousands, of Verbal and Quant problems and explanations.

Regardless of your choice, best of luck reprepping--here's to 700!
