Hi
I finally took the gmat exam. it was my first time. i am really disappointed as i was expecting a higher score.
I got 500 after studying for 2 months. my minimum score on gmat prep practice was 570. my goal is to reach 600 and above.
I studied kaplan and
mgmat books. On the test day something was off as i did not concentrate on the questions nd i was thinking about the score. In addition, i woke up with a flue on the test day. maybe these factors affected me.
Need advice plz i am really desperate.
Should i join a class??
Hi,
Probably it is the exam anxiety. But if you did score a 570 on GMAT prep, maybe you need a structured preparation. Instead of focusing on too many questions practicing randomly, practice in a moderated environment where you can focus on your weakness. Do a mock test, analyze it by topic/concept, break it down and then talk to an expert to get a structured study plan. Once you get that, then get down to the basics, get the concepts straight, then you will receive enlightenment when GMAT will be a breeze.
It'll not be English, but a logic exam that you will crack.
For starters, try the Edvento quizzes of
MGMAT tests to know where you stand.
Hope that helps.
