Hello all,

Currently, I am working in the automotive industry. I have 3 years of experience and I got dual master degrees. Here is my profile,

Bachelors (Mechanical) GPA - 6/10 ( Many D grades, few C grades and 2 A grades)
Masters (Physics) GPA - 6/10 (got E grade in 6 courses, D in 6 courses)
That is an integrated degree program. There are no personal/family/health reasons for my poor grades, I was just lazy and didn't attend classes and exams.

After graduation, I came to US and finished my masters in mechanical engineering
Master (Mechanical) GPA - 3.6/4 (All A's and B's)

I got 323 in my GRE (gave GRE in 2012) and I am confident that I can get similar or better score if I write GRE again.

With such low bachelors GPA and with so many E and D grades, will any good university even look at my application? Will my masters GPA help my application? I want to get into top-tier universities, is it achievable? My company will pay for my MBA fee if I can get into Ross school of business.
Let's say you use this converter to get GRE score to GMAT-- https://www.ets.org/gre/institutions/ab ... rison_tool you are looking at about a 670 if you have 161 V and 162 Q. That as a GMAT is not helpful-- but for GREs the scores are lower and having above 320 puts you in pretty good shape. The poor grades don't help. It's never a "fool's dream" to want to improve. The key is having something else ROCK in your application. Maybe it is your amazing work-- maybe it is your passion for the school and WHY you need the MBA, maybe it is your extracurriculars.
Also-- I would stay in the realm of better odds-- meaning H/S/W may not be your jam.... but maybe Olin, Owen, Emory are... so look in that 15-30 range of schools and really do your research on WHY you need the degree. That can help-- we see people defy the odds all the time at Stratus-- so if you want help to give yourself the best shot-- please reach out to us on this link: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... b-visitor/

Is this a fool's dream or is there any scope for me?
