Hi all,
I wrote GMAT for the first time on 22nd March with the following result:
Total - 700
Q - 48 (76%)
V - 38 (84%)
IR - 7 (82%)
AWA - 5 (60%)
The result for my second attempt on 2nd June is as follows:
Total - 710
Q - 50 (89%)
V - 35 (75%)
IR - 8 (93%)
AWA - Result pending, expecting a 5-6
I expected a 730 -740 score on my second attempt, given my GMAT PREP practice test scores were consistently above 750.
However, now that I have the scores, I am confused which score to go with as my Verbal score has gone down from 38 to 35, more importantly the percentile has gone down from 84 to 75. I understand that the other aspects of application are also very important. Having said that, I wish to finalize which score to go with as soon as possible and get all my efforts in preparing the complete application. Any help in clearing this doubt of mine will really help me out a lot!
In addition to the above query, would also request feedback on my score in the light of my overall profile, mentioned below:
Total work ex (by the time of admission in 2015) - Close to 4 years
Type of experience: Financial Services (Corporate and Retail Credit Risk Analytics), Analytics (Marketing, Sales)
Clients - Banks, Pharma, Web, Education
Grad Score - 8.7 on a scale of 10, Electronics and Communications Engineering
Please let me know if any other information is needed from my side.

I don't think you have a choice? Business schools will take the higher score.

I just submitted scores a few days back. You don't get an option to "choose" the score you wanna send. I'm guessing each school has its own way of looking at multiple scores. From what I know almost all of them take the highest !
