Need advice on gmat score

Question

Hello Everyone,

I gave online GMAT last weekend and below is my score and breakup,

Total Score - 740
Quant - V51
Verbal - V38
IR - 8

I wanted to check if this is good enough to get into one of the top 25 programs? Or the difference in quant and verbal will be an issue.

I am trying to avoid reappearing because of my hectic schedule.

Hi Anurag,

First of all, congratulations on that amazing score. Its a pretty decent score to apply to any of the top 25 programs since its around the average score
of such programs. The game changer now will be your profile. It'll be better if you can provide some information about your profile. Commenting on the combination of both will then be easier for anyone.

Hi anurag18,

First off, a 740/Q51 is an outstanding Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

740 is a great score! Unless you have some glaring issues that we are unaware of, I think you should be fine with your score. Good luck with things moving forward.
