Hey I'm an aspiring 2nd year undergraduate student who wishes to give gmat in another few months.
So I need advice about how to start & all from anyone who had given it before or preparing for it.
Your replies to this post will be highly appreciated.
Thankyou

GMAT Club Forum mobile appHi
vaiv123First go to
https://www.mba.com website to get familiar with test, test structure, verbal and quant sections of test, test time, breaks etc.
Then I would advise to go here on GMAT club to read GMAT course reviews and pick one that is most suitable for you and start studying !
The sooner the better

I will also advise you, that along with your chosen GMAT prep company you include Official guides, from makers of the test.
Allow yourself 3-5 months of study in advance.
During your studies use GMAT club forum for all questions you may have and additional practice questions if necessary.
Furthermore, you should do your research to see what is average GMAT score of previously admitted students for schools where you want to apply.
Then set that average score for your target score and take one of full GMAT mock test to see where do you stand before any prep and how far away you are from your goal.
You should go into depths of your test review to see what would be your weak areas, where you need to invest your special attention during prep and therefore boost your future score.
When you form your schools list, pay special attention to their deadlines and set your prep and GMAT test day accordingly.
Hope this helps !
Happy studying and good luck !
