Hi,
I am in the process of preparing the applications. But I need some advise for the SOP. Just want to make sure that I got everything covered.
Belows are what I have included in my SOP.
SOP
1. Carrer goal
2. Why now?
3. Research Interest
4. Why this university?
Moreover, I need suggestions for my chance to get admission to PhD in Finance. I am an international student from Thailand. My bachelor was Engineering(GPA 2.80) from the ruputable school in my country. And i just finished my MBA(finance) from tier II, US university with GPA 3.93. I have some working experience but mostly about engineer(although I worked part-time as a tutor before, i don't really know whether it counts?).
My Gmat score is 710 (Q50,95% and V36,81%).
My target school is Wisconsin, UIUC, and Minnesota.
Do you think I have good chance?
Any advise is appreciated.

I guess it is covered. Also I would suggest that you email one or two professors of your target universities. Let their replies guide you on how to tailor the SOP to a particular university. One SOP for all univs just won't do. Best of Luck !
