Hi ,

I have my GMAT in another 10 days . Its my second attempt ( after 10 months)

My main weak areas are DS( with timer on) and RC.

I tend to get few DS questions wrong on the mock tests , while i can easily solve them without the timer on.

I have been practising with GMAT TIMER but in vain :(

RC : is the most scarieist thing for me in GMAT .I get lost most of the times while reading the passage and get most of the questions wrong. Else i try to understand the passage reding multiple times which again impacts my time for other questions in mock tests.

Please advice what can be done to overcome this "timer" fear i have and also any RC tips .... :?:

Hi sr12,

RC is the most difficult to explain in terms of how to improve. It is much easier for us to SHOW you how to improve.

Please take a look at this sample video showing you how we approach a passage. Notice that we do not read every single word. And notice the kinds of key transition areas that we focus on.

Efficient reading is important in a timed test environment. And the only way to get better is to watch how someone else does it.
