Hello everyone,
Right now I am at crossroads and not able to decide what to do next....
Currently I am employed at one of the Maharatna PSU for last 10.5 years and before that I had worked in TCS for 3.5 years. Also, I was part of two failed start-ups. These start-ups were started and run along with the job.
Now, there is very little growth (let's say 6% yearly) in my current job and I want to make a jump in my career by doing executive MBA for 1 year. My current CTC is 20 LPA. Also I am married and father of twins of 1 year currently. I am the sole earning member of the family.
I want to do executive MBA from either IIM A or ISB...I know it's tough but I will go for only these two college.
But I am confused with the following doubts in my mind:
1. Is the career path that I want to go for is correct at this point of time for me ?
2. What if I gets into my dream colleges but not able to get placed or get placed at less than my current CTC ?
3. What will be my ROI if I go for 1 year EMBa ?
4. Will I be able to outdone my current job in the long run ?
5. Is it possible for me to do 1 year MBA from abroad ?
6. Is it possible to do 1 year MBa along with keeping my family on campus in the college ?
Please suggest. Any valuable suggestion will be welcome.
