I can see that. EMBA is hard because it is not full time and it is expensive and there is no recruiting component there. You basically network on your own, connecting with people.
Your main network will be your cohort, so the bigger the program the better as that will be your main safety net.

FMCG is also not a very MBA-friendly industry. They often do not see value in the MBA. I can perhaps suggest considering a second tier program such as Manchester or a program such as ESADE or Erasmus in Netherlands. They are friendlier to more experienced candidates and would give you a Visa upon graduation and some opportunities to connect with employers. However, you will be taking time off work and sinking money into an MBA and you may already be able to find a job with your experience today. If you are finding that it is hard getting a job within the same industry you have 12 years of work experience in, adding an MBA on top of it will not do miracles for employment. It will still be hard to find a job since you are recruited based on your WE rather than the diploma.

I can also recommend perhaps a specialized Masters - faster and cheaper and does the same goal of giving you an advanced degree and work visa for a year in Europe. What do you think?

Still undecided...

I'm okay applying for a full time MBA but the college admission teams when I reached out to them for these colleges suggested my profile with around 12-13 years of experience is more suited for EMBA. So left with just EMBA as the option! 😐

Thanks much BB for sharing this perspective. All that you shared makes total sense.

Do you have any recommendations on some of the best schools offering specialized masters in Europe which can provide the advanced degree and work visa for a year in Europe?

I am no Master's expert really but the top ones tend to be LBS, HEC, LSE, and a few others - here is a full list:
