I have a 4 to 6 weeks prep time for taking my GMAT. Have been working with PR Cracking the GMAT 2011 Edition for Quant review. I have excellent Quant b/g, so I am not worried about it -- just need to practice. Aced PR book assessment, which recommended to focus on level 4 & 5 problems for practice.
Verbal is my weakness -- at least I think so. Have been out of college for several years (actually, ages!). Have good business writing exp, but no formal grammar training or creative writing exp.
Which verbal book should I start with? PR Cracking the GMAT, Kaplan GMAT Premier 2011 or Kaplan Verbal Workbook?
I would follow it with
PowerScore Verbal Bible OR individual
MGMAT verbal books (based on my weakness areas). Again, which one would be a better choice, given the short prep time? Or, should I skip the first book and jump directly to one of these?
Finally, where does the Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review fit in?
BTW, I will be quite happy with 700 - 720 for overall score -- given the short prep time.
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
