Hi,
I am having 4 years experience as Software engineer. I have done B.Tech ( E.C.) and I want to do MBA-Finance.
Can you please guide me if I go for GMAT will my experience count ?? or I will be treated as fresher in MBA-Finance ??

More often than not, IT to finance career switch leaves you at entry level positions in finance jobs. In other words, your s/w experience doesnt count much. One friend of mine, who made the switch after 4 years within India, seriously laments about lost experience/seniority in this transition.
However, if you have worked with clients in the Banking / Financial services industry
,have gained good knowledge on finance and can demonstrate it, then you maybe able to use those skills during admission and recruitment.
