Hi guys!
I prepared for GMAT last year and then just 2 days before the exam, my country's government declared lockdown, and I was unable to give the exam. However, I have been preparing again, and I bought mocks 3 and 4. My scores are:
3. 720 (Q50, V38, IR6)
4. 720 (Q51, V35, IR8)
I have taken the date as 19th February.
As it must be apparent, I'm really dissatisfied with the verbal score. My target score is 42 in verbal, and I am way off. There are two problems that I've outlined:
1. Timing: I finished 5-10 minutes early in Verbal and 10 minutes early in Quant in the 4th mock. I completed verbal on time but finished Quant 20 minutes early in Mock 3. I'm not sure how to tackle this except follow certain time checking strategies mentioned on this forum because that is what helped me with Quant timing.
2. Topic wise problems: I went over the questions that I got incorrect both in OG and in Mocks and I've outlined the following topics:
Sentence Correction Topics: Gramatical Construction, Construction, Idioms, Modifiers, Style and Usage, Comparison, Subject-verb agreement, Parallel Structure, Diction, Meaning, Verb/Tense form, Pronouns
Critical Reasoning Topics: Fill in the blanks/complete the passage, Weaken, Inference, Evaluate the Argument, Strengthen
[secondary] Paradox, Find the Flaw, Find the Assumption
Reading Comprehension Topics: Main Idea, Inference, Function, Detail,
Passage type: Humanities
Can someone here help me with guidance on these topics? Any link or practice materials would work.
