Start slowly with GMAT preparation. Play with the problems posted in gmatclub.com, learn about the colleges you want to apply, decide on the timeline, when you should take the test.
Before taking a mock test. Go to TTP and look into their 5 day trial, read their chapter on Strategy. It will change the way you see GMAT. Then have a overview on the test's pattern, then give a mock test it will give you a base score. Then start from there.

All the best !

And also try other prep providers like Manhattan Prep e-GMAT too. They too offer free trial

Okay but like is 2 years of work experience enough to apply in a top mba college ? Because for all the research I was able to do majority of top b schools in Europe or US had like 3-5 years of experience. I want to go to abroad and pursue a college there hence asking if I start the preparation now it will suffice my requirement of being considered for a top mba college

I don't think you need to wait until you hit the 2-year mark to start prepping, GMAT prep and the "enough experience" clock don't have to run on the same timeline. The score's valid for 5 years, so there's zero downside to studying now and just holding it until you're ready to apply.

If anything, starting now while you're not in application-crunch mode is the smarter move. I did my prep about 14 months before I actually applied, and it meant I could take my time with the DI section especially, that one rewards slow, repeated practice way more than cramming. Two years of being "appliable" also doesn't mean you have to apply the second you hit that mark, most people apply once they've got a real story to tell, not just a headcount of months.

Start now, treat 2027 as a deadline for having options, not a starting gun.

Sure will do that, just wanted to ask that 2 years of work experience will suffice it ? And the mba college won't mind a score which is like 1-1.5 yrs old ?
