I got the score report. From what I’ve analysed so far, the number of mistakes I made in Verbal and DI was same to what I had in a few mocks where I scored V83 and DI82 (with 8 and 7 mistakes, respectively).

However, in the actual exam, most of my Verbal mistakes were in the Critical Reasoning (CR) section. Could that be a reason for the lower score compared to the Official GMAT mocks? (I also remember I got lot of ques from one type of CR que pool.)

As for DI, I noticed that my mistakes were spread throughout the section meaning I couldn't maintain a long streak of correct answers. I believe that could be another reason for the lower percentile, despite having a similar number of correct answers as in the mocks. Attaching the screenshots of verbal and DI.

I think maintaining a long streak of correct answers in Verbal and DI will be the key. (For Quant, I understand need to get mostly all correct to get to the target score hence not discussing about that section here)

Appreciate any suggestions here.

Hi MadhuB,

Considering the scores of your practice exams, I would have expected you to score higher on your actual GMAT. Do you think that anxiety was an issue for you on test day?
