Hi Karishma,
Thanks for an immediate reply. I did not mean the OGs. I already have OGs and am going through them, especially for the Verbal section. By GMAT prep material, I meant a number of books and courses that I have seen many people advocating here from Kaplan or Veritas. By 100% I meant, I gave a full test, only one of it from the OGs and on verifying my answers and logics, I noticed to have answered all the questions correctly. I further did a detailed analysis of my approach and the solutions and noticed the two to be on a converging end. This has helped me somehow gain confidence with the Quant part.
I am worried about Verbal although I would mention the fact that I have not yet done everything in Verbal, and no full test either. I have done a lot of SC questions, some CR questions but I am able to perform with an accuracy of maximum 70% on them.
I do not understand much of how GMAT is being scored. 37 questions/41 questions both evaluated on a scale of 60 but even those getting 800 perfect score get Q51 V51. This has gone far to create a hazy and opaque picture of the scoring in my mind but for now I am not focussing on it. My total concentration is going towards reading a lot of material in Verbal and try to attain a better comfort level in the same.
Your guidance and response shall be much appreciated and sought for.
