Hey guys, I’m in a bit of a fix and need help urgently. Currently, I have admits in MiM from emLyon and IE and I’ve also applied to ESSEC and LBS but haven’t heard back from them yet. So my plan is to pay the seat reservation fee for either IE or emLyon (both these offers expire this weekend) and just pay it again in case I get an admit from ESSEC or LBS since they’re both much higher ranked and I can easily get my money back through better ROI.
So firstly, what do y’all think about this plan? And secondly, which one do I go for, emLyon MiM or IE MiM?
My primary goal is to work as a management consultant at either one of the MBB firms or the Tier 1/Big 4 firms (preferably in the US or European markets based on whichever one has a better pay, but I definitely want to keep international options open) and then later on, after a few years of work ex, found my own start-up or pursue something entrepreneurial.
I’d really appreciate it if you guys can share your insights/experience and help me make a well informed decision before the deadline. Thanks!

I thought it over and figured that an extension wouldn’t have worked either way because both ESSEC and LBS announce their decisions on fixed dates and not on a rolling basis. So even if IE and emLyon had given me an extension (which wouldn’t have been more than a week), I still would’ve needed more time to hear back from ESSEC and LBS.
Anyway, I chose emLyon for now. Hope I made the right choice based on my goals haha
