Hi Friends,
I have been preparing for GMAT (round 2) in the last 2 months. Unfortunately, i have not been able to cover much ground in 2 months due to work pressures and lack of time.
So far, i have covered about 500 questions in PS, DS and SC. I may have covered some 200 or so questions in 1000 CR and 3000 RC.
However, i have taken a lot of practice tests and my scores are as follows.
Powerprep (Old) : 710 & 730
GMAT Sets : 610, 620, 650, 660, 690 and 690
My G-day is just around the corner ( in 10 days) and I am aiming for 700+ score. I need advice from 700+ club on the strategy i can follow to the to get the maximum out of my preparation in 10 days.
At this point, my timing on verbal questions is pathetic. I was not able to complete more than 32 questions in GMAT sets in 75 min
I am leaning towards cancelling or reschedulign my test..
Any suggestions ???

I would say you should postpone until you have been able to better prepare. Not only will it help you with specific weaknesses, it will help with your confidence, and that is key. I wasn't ready for my first GMAT and tanked it.
Timing for verbal can be tough, especially with those lovely reading passages. Do you read the passage first? That can be a big time killer. I read the question and answers first, then skim the passage for key words that would answer the question. When I see them, I read that paragraph carefully, especially looking for words like "however", "nonetheless", etc. Saves a bunch of time. I learned this technique from my Princeton Review book, which I would recommend for strategy. Their tips for process of elimination are great time-savers too.
Look at your schedule over the next month or so and see if you can squeeze out enough time for more active prep. Don't just cancel your GMAT and don't schedule it too soon -- or even too far out. It's easy to lose motivation if you don't have a specific date looming.
