here are my few cents for you.

I would recommend you to narrow down your strengths and weaknesses and focus to eradicate any weakness by brushing that particular concept and doing some problems. For this you can analyze your previous test logs. This way you will save time and enhance you score quickly. Also try to do as many 700 level questions as you can here on GMC. There is a 700-800 difficulty doc floating. But make sure you are comfortable with sub 700 difficulty first.

You can also use Gmatclub test to test your skill level.; they are really good.. especially for quant.
Also you can try grockit.. they have good tricky quant questions.. helps with timing too..

I would skip the advanced quant guide from MGMAT. I have it, and all it does it reinforce concepts from the original quant books they make.

I think the best way to improve SC is to read MGMAT's guide and to start reading books. Reading books will give you an ear for identifying mistakes.
