I've been self-studying for the GMAT using the MGMAT books and GMAC practice questions for about 7 months now. My verbal score has improved tremendously, from 29 to 38. Yet, I can't seem to improve my quant score by much and am stuck at a 41. I'm open to online classes, private tutoring, anything that will help me get my math to the next level.
I don't think it's necessary for me to take an entire course, because I just want to focus on quant. But would be open to that as well.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should try?

One of three things:
1. Take a break and get some other Quant books. Look at fundamentals from a different perspective. It could just be fatigue and boredom that is weighing you down.
2. Private tutoring could be helpful. Someone could sit with you and discuss the mental blocks you face while doing the higher level questions.
3. Check out my blog. I discuss predominantly higher level concepts. Start from the last post on this page and go up (and to newer entries).Check out the posts on topics that bother you. They might give you a fresh perspective.
