Hi All,

I am disappointed with my score and planning to retake the exam after 16 days as I am considering few schools for Jan 2017 intake(1 year full-time MBA).
Wanted to seek help in evaluating my profile with the current GMAT score,if there is any possibility to apply with this score:

Singapore Management University.

IIM - Ahmedabad/Bangalore/Calcutta.
Any good 1 year MBA school in Canada
Indian male, with around 9 years of IT exp.
Current Company: Edgeverve Systems Ltd
Past Experience : Infosys Limited
Qualifications:
10th: 73.2%
12th: 72.2%
BE/ B.Tech: 71.92% (Mechanical Engineering)
You have some highly competitive schools in your list and you need to play your A-gmae to get through these. I would recommend you go request a profile evaluation in Ask Admissions Consultants forum.
Regarding the GMAT, I would recommend you to wait for a bit longer before you sit for the test. There only so much that you can do in 16 days to improve your preparation.
Try to drill down deep and identify your problems:
SC: The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you.
CR: There might be certain types of questions that are troubling you. May be Assumption, may be conclusion, inference etc.
You need to find that out and then practice them
RC: This again can be drilled down into different types of questions and also different topics. See what questions and topics trouble you the most and then practice accordingly.
Quants: Again try to break the questions in topics such as Algebra, Number system (very important), Geometry, PnC etc.
As an addition, start preparing an
error log and keep a note of all the mistakes you made and the lessons you learnt from the problems. This will ensure you do not make the same mistake again.
Make sure you complete all of the
OG and the Verbal review and if required, you can buy the Question pack1 from mba.com
