Hi isanyamm,
Depending on your skills in SC and IR, you might find it easier to deal with the current version of the GMAT (instead of training for the new GMAT Focus Edition). The GMAT Focus edition is going to be available to take in the last couple of months of 2023 (supposedly starting in early November) - and the current version of the GMAT will also be available to take until some time in early 2024 (supposedly until at least March) - meaning that there will be several months in which you can take EITHER version of the GMAT.
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) When you say that you are "starting fresh", does that mean that you prevsiously studied for the GMAT? If so, then for how long - and how many hours did you typically study each week?
2) Have you taken the Official GMAT yet? If you did, then when - and how did you score?
3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
