Hi Mission2018,

Thanks for having an interest in our product!! If you are totally new to our product, we actually recommend you to begin our materials by watching “DS+PS” videos first. The DS+PS will introduce you to the core theory of our Variable Approach for DS and IVY Approach for PS. However, if you chose to watch OG2017 first for the sake of saving time, make sure you practice as much as you can on each question before move onto next question. Our approaches require some getting-used-to time. By the time students finish watching OG2017 (without watching DS+PS first), they usually understand our concepts very thoroughly since OG2017 offer more than 400 questions to practice on.

You can sign up our product for $99 for 3 month. You will have access to all our videos and 2,400 most-up-to-date problems. We continually refresh our math questions based on the types of questions appearing in current GMAT exams. For our analysis of GMAT quant trends, refer to this post.

Mission2018, here is our advice to improve your score.
Remember the principle of "Slow, Hand, Detail"!

1. Solve "slowly" when you study and practice.

2. Solve the problems by "hand" as a rule. Understanding how the problems are solved in videos is very different from actually solving them yourself. So, practice by solving the problems by hand-writing them is very important after you have studied with the videos.

3. When you solve them, write a "detailed" calculation process without skipping any steps.

If you are not strong in basic math skills, your PS won’t be good. If your PS isn't good, you will have a difficult time in establishing equations in DS. So, your DS will not be good either. So when you are practicing, try to understand the entire process of calculation very thoroughly for each question. This is very very important!!! Students often make mistakes by skipping a step or two in the solving process.

Also check our free trial pack and free video lessons on our site at mathrevolution.com Also don’t forget to try our free diagnostic test!!

Hi All,

When it comes to studying for the GMAT, there are a variety of different options. Regardless of whether you're considering a product from one of the Companies that posts in this forum or one that you've heard about elsewhere, it's worth noting that most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
