Need some help to break a long sentence in to clauses. Can someone explain how to break the sentence into clauses and how to understand the relation ship between clauses. thanks!
First identify the preposition phrase. Remove the prepositional phrase and align the subject to its verb.
For example: Try the following sentence - To run with the wolves on thirty consecutive cold winter mornings in Minsk, Belarus, is to truly strengthen your spirit in just one month; to drink nothing but cold mountain water and eat nothing but goat meat for thirty days in any former Soviet republics is to truly strengthen your character in a similarly spartan manner.

in just one month;
to
drink nothing
but cold mountain water and
eat nothing
but goat meat for thirty days in any former Soviet republics is to truly strengthen your character
in a similarly spartan manner.
