My GPA's in the undergraduate school were:

1st yr - 8.58
2nd yr - 8.78
3rd yr - 8.98
4th yr - 7.63
Overall - 8.61

Would it raise any eyebrows? Should I explain this fluctuation?

My GPA is probably like this:

7.50
6.50
6.00
7.00

and I am not sure what to do .... :)

Over achievers were the people with 9.5's. :)

What do you think, should I explain this blip in the GPA?

naah - I would not. Its pretty consistent except for the last yr. I would not worry about it.

tha'ts the same issue I had... a dip at the end. I chose not to explain it.

Same story - we had only two courses at the last year, and one of them I didn't pass well. I think to accent excellent grades at two final exams and for the three term papers and final thesis.
