Hi Divyansh1992,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those possible issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long did you study before each of your Official GMATs?
2) What study materials did you use for each attempt?

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Divyansh1992,

Based on your score breakdown, you clearly need to improve in verbal to hit your score goal. Would you like some general advice on how to improve your verbal skills? Also, have you taken any official GMAC practice exams? If so, how did you score on those?

I have studied for around 2 and 2.5 months before appearing for Official GMAT. I have referred to e-GMAT for verbal, Manhattan material (for verbal and Quant both) and used the mock test series of Experts Global. The score consistently has been 720 above in all mocks. Overall I have given 22 mock test (after doing my prep).

My overall aim is 730+. I was planning to apply this year but seems like a lost case :(

I am really not sure, what can help me right now. I know all the concepts, nothing seems new to me now. I have dedicated full 2.5 months for the prep(even took a break from work). :(

Yes, I did took the official practice test. I scored 720 and 750 in Practice test 1 and 2.
