Hello,
My name is Cameron and I just took my first GMAT Focus test yesterday and had pretty pathetic results, despite studying hard for about 3 weeks.
My overall score was 455, with my weakest area being quant.
(I am NOT a math person by any stretch, and I have never gone to college before. Last time I had to do math was back in HS over 13 years ago)!
Quant score was 66
DI was 72
Verbal was 79 (With very little studying being devoted to this topic).
If my offer for a Full-time MBA program is to become confirmed, I will need to retake the test in two weeks time and need to score a minimum of 550.
I am not employed currently and have the next two weeks completely free to devote essentially all of my time/effort into studying.
My questions are:
1. Given how week I am at math, does it seem realistic that I can boost my score up to 550 in just two weeks time of hard studying?
2. What would be the best test-prep company/website for booting my math score, (when also taking into consideration that I am VERY week at math, and only want to learn the absolute minimum amount of math needed to get a 550 overall score). I have a subscription to
Magoosh currently, but am open to others if there is a better fit.
Thank you very much, Cameron
