I am studying roughly 3-4 hours a day on weekdays and 8 hours on weekend

practice 30 -40 CR questions from 1000 CR
practice 7-10 passage Rc
practice 30-40 SC question from gmatprep2 question bank.

After first try
gmat prep (600 (q47,v27)--> 3.5 weeks back
gmat prep 2(590(q48,v21) -->2 weeks back
veritas prep(620 (q48,v28)) -->2 weeks back

ex pack1 (570(q47,v21)) -->10 days back
gmat club verbal (v20-v27)) -->multiple time

I need to apply to Indian School Of Business EEO 2018

Most probably looking to do Mba from 2019

Target Score is 700-730 anything above 700 is great.

Alright,
Try to figure out
1) If your current strategy is causing you to lose out on time, if yes - then improve your speeds by practicing more passages.
2) If you're getting questions wrong despite grasping the questions then
a. You are not good with your concepts / lack practice
b. Running out of time

Hi Anmolgupta824,

GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar 'swing' in how your CATs function, your various CAT score results (along with your prior Official GMAT Score) show that you essentially performed the same each time (600 +/- a few points). This implies that you've gotten "stuck" at this current score level - and you'll have to make some significant changes to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections to get 'unstuck.' Unfortunately, raising a 600 to a 700+ will likely take at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study, so you might need to consider pushing back your Test Date. You need the necessary time to learn and practice some new Tactics.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi All,

I have 20 days as my gmat is on 4 sept 2017.

I have already given gmat first time got 600 (Q48,V24)

Now I am consistently stuck at V 27 sometimes less than that V23.
I have gone through both Egmat as well as Economist (90% verbal complete).
I am mostly not facing much difficulty in SC (60% ability rate).

RC (10-35%) AND CR(20-40%) and I dont know how to destroy verbal.

I have done all the gmat question as well as Verbal scholarium.

Quants also stuck at (48-50) ---> scores also varies
Also for verbal I am getting good score at manhattan above v 30
but gmatprep and gmatclub test my score is around v23-v27

Suggest me something that can be done.
OR should I postpone my days.

PLEASE HELP

Hi

Which material you are using for verbal? and what is your learning strategy and study timing?
because both are much important in your prep.

Hi,

E-gmat verbal online or the e-gmat verbal live are both amazing courses that can really help you improve your scores.

However, given how close your GMAT date is, I personally do not think one should adopt any new method on the final leg of their GMAT Preparation. It may be nice to give a couple of mocks (the official ones) and work on your weaknesses, but trying something new might not work in anyone’s favour. However if you want to improve on any individual area such as Sentence Correction, you may subscribe to the individual SC course as you can finish the whole course in 10 days (with proper dedication). If however you are only looking to indentify and improve on your weak areas, I would encourage you to purchase the e-gmat scholaranium. It is without a doubt, one of the best practice tools for verbal and will indeed help you on the final leg of your preparations.

Hope this helps. All the best.
