Hello All,
Thanks in advance for the help. I took my first GMAT in October and got a 720 (Q44, V45). I am a 42 year old Military Officer trying to get into a good EMBA program (preferably Wharton or Columbia). I have been told that although 720 is a good score, the low Quant is going to set off alarm bells. I plan to retake in February before the March 1st deadline for Wharton. The application deadline is February, but you can take GMAT up until 1 March.
For my first GMAT, I worked though the
MGMAT series and the OG, but I think I crammed it in too fast for someone who has not taken a math course in 20+ years. As I have started to study for the retake, I find that the Questions and Solutions make more sense. Maybe I just needed some time for the material to digest.
I have gone through the OG 12 Quant section again, using the
MGMAT online guide, which has been helpful. I am going through the OG Quant Review 2nd Ed, currently and should be finished by tomorrow. I am a liberal arts major, so I am probably not going to be a Q51, but I believe 48-49 is achievable.
My question is this, I am looking for a good source of Quant questions to help reinforce my study. I looked at the
GMAT Club tests and they seem a bit above my math level and are aimed at someone studying for a 51. It seems like Jeff Sackman's Quant questions may be what I am looking for, but just wanted to check with you all to see if that makes sense.
Thank you again for the advice,
Chris
