Hi Hjort,
Could you evaluate my profile and help me decide which schools I should apply to.
My profile:
* BS Electrical Engg, Indian Institute of Technology. GPA 3.7
(this is one of the best engg schools in India)
* MS Electrical Engg, Stanford University. GPA 3.9 (Part time)
* 5 yr Work Exp as a Senior Designer in a high profile ASIC design company. Tech work with increasing reponsibilities over time.
* GMAT: 790
* Extracurricular: I spend a lot of time in sports, but mostly recreational and sometimes for charity; haven't got much to prove here in terms of certificates etc.
My term goals: (roughly in decreasing order of preference)
* Start my own tech company
* Executive in a semiconductor company
* Marketing for a semiconductor company
I am still researching on the schools. Here is my preliminary list
Harvard
Michigan
Kellog
Wharton
and may be...
LBS
INSEAD
Dartmouth
Stanford
What would you suggest? How would you rate my chances in these schools. Do you think I am aiming too high.

My understanding about MIT and Carnegie was that the two schools are very IT oriented. I was thinking of a more general-management/ entrepreneurship / marketing oriented school. But as I mentioned, I have just started researching different schools and my list is very preliminary.
