Thanks a lot for the info shaselai and Dawgie.

Any idea on which sector is good for a candidate with my profile ? ( other than the IT sector ) ... I mean what companies will probably recruit me in case I have an MBA from a good school ? ( Just to help me find the right schools I need to concentrate on )

well seems techies go for consulting namely tech consulting since they play to their strengths. Also entrepreneurship is another one as well as IB.

Hi dharani1234,
when are u planning to apply for ISB?ISB r1 deadline was on 30th august.Next one is on 30th November..
Ur resumes seems to be gr8 try to score High on GMAT too that will leave very less chance for good Bschools to reject a profile like yours..

Thanks a lot for the guidance Sandeep.

I hope I will have to wait till next year then to apply for ISB .... wrong time to start my prep :( . Anyways better than never I guess.

BTW ... Will it be an advantage if we have an MBA from the top international schools like Wharton/Insead ...etc ?

I don't know if I am eligible .... but was wondering if these schools will be better than ISB.

Offcourse dharani these schools are on higher edge then ISB firstly because of international exposure.
their ranking is also on higher side than ISB..Try looking for rankings in FT.com if u dnt have idea.

offcourse u r eligible all these schools basically want 2 years of work ex and that too is not necessary...I will say go ahead with these schools unless and untill u feel of studying in INDIA only.. :)
