I'm completely discouraged.....I recently started studying for the GMAT (taking it on March 1st), and have been going full force studying over the past two weeks (Christmas holidays).
Well....I absolutely SUCK at DS! I've done 80% of the DS questions in OG 10, and the score is consistently dismal. I thought maybe I'm doing something wrong with my strategy, so I read up on Kaplan and went back to some DS questions, but I'm still failing miserably.
What can/should I do now? Please help......

Maybe you can elaborate more on what problems you're facing. Are you having problems understanding what the question is asking (in which case, it has nothing to do with your quant abilites but rather more a language problem), or you're simply struggling with basics?

I think my basics are just shot....haven't done any "real" math in a while. But then, I see improvements in my PS, so the math is slowly coming back. Also, I find that my brain is quite clouded when I'm doing DS questions..i'm not sure if the answer choices are throwing me off or what. I always try to look at STatement 1 and 2 separately, but somehow, it gets all jumbled up when I'm trying to find the answer.
I find that when I read the explanations after the test, I always go "AHA!! I KNEW THAT!", but why can't I see the light when I'm doing the questions? I've tried both timed and un-timed environments....with no big diff, so I don't think I can blame the pressure.
