Hello All,

I took my GMAT last year and scored a 710 (Q49, V37). I retook it this Tuesday in the online format and scored the same 710 with Q50 and V37 this time. I aim to score around 740+. I have tried e-gmat both of the times, and they helped me improve from a V28-29 to 37. I took 3 official mocks this time (although they were reattempts, I had taken them over a year back and hence I believe that couldn't inflate the estimates) and scored V38, V40, and V41 with Q remaining at around 49-50.

I think that although I have learned all the topics, I'm either not able to apply them during my exam or there's something else which I'm totally unaware of, which is pulling back my V score.

Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance :)

Regards,
Rahul Rai

To be honest , its really difficult to score more after a certain point.
I am personally going through same issue.
But as per my personal experience its the variety of question in SC and Cr that helps to improve score. Try official practice test questions if possible

Hi rahulrai95,

Are you looking for general advice on how to improve your GMAT verbal skills or regarding resources?

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your reply. I am mostly looking for advice w.r.t. how people have improved from a stagnant score. I'm not able to digest the fact that I have scored lower than my scores in the mock. I need help in identifying the cause of this. Any resources related to Verbal question banks for practice would be helpful as well.

Regards,
Rahul Rai
