My name is Sachin and I am preparing for Gmat. Let me give you an insight about my preparation so far.
Initially I used Manhattan books and Gmat club Maths book to prepare for Quant and verbal. My exam was scheduled in the month of December. After preparing from them, I gave my first mock from GMAT prep (free ones) and got 38 in quant and 22 in Verbal. I was disheartened and postponed my exam to July. I was able to grasp all the concepts outlined in them but whenever I try to do questions from OG guides, every other question uses a different approach which is way different from the simple concept of the books. I think I have an issue with application of concepts. Then I checked reviews of all the courses on GMAT club and bought e-Gmat course for both Quant and verbal.
January to April was quite busy due to work in the office and I was able to complete only CR and SC part from E-gmat. And I have seen an improvement in both of them. Now, I have started to work on dreaded Quant portion again after which I would finish RC.
Even now, I am able to understand all the concepts of Quant mentioned in the course but whenever I approach OG questions, every second question uses a different approach. I have still not given up hope and determined to get a good score on G-mat. I would finish number properties section today and start word problems tomorrow. My exam is scheduled on July 10th now. I have a 8 AM to 5 PM job and I can take out 4+ hours on weekdays and 8+ hours on weekends.
Any expert advice for Quant section would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Not absolutely sure what you mean by different approaches but finding ways you can apply reasoning to make the questions easier can be helpful. The actual name of the section is Quantitative Reasoning.
