I am sorry if it's a repetitive post but I need help with quants. I am unable to figure out what my weak areas are. Some days I can easily do 600-700 level questions but on the other days I can't get even 2/10 questions right of the same difficulty. I have completed the quant review official book and also done with 70% questions in OG 2021. I started with studying concepts from MGMAT book. I have my test scheduled 3 weeks from now. Can anyone please tell me how to approach with the quant?

The review in the official guide is a joke. You basically have not done any preparation at this point besides wasting questions and time. I suggest you cover the Manhattan Quant guide as soon as possible or reschedule your test.
Also, don’t be helpless, if you get a question wrong, go after it and make sure you cover that topic and know how to solve these questions.

Thanks for the reply. If I understand your point correctly, the review books are useless but the OG is still good right? There are 3 official books in the set, the official guide, the quant review and the verbal review.
Your best move for mastering GMAT quant is not to do mixed sets practice of questions timed. It's to work topic by topic, first developing complete understanding of a topic and then doing practice questions focused on that one topic until you practically can't get them incorrect, first doing the questions untimed and then seeking to speed up as you develop skill.
So, by working through the Official Guides, you are using a method that is far from the most effective method, because you are doing mixed practice rather than working topic by topic.
I did something similar when I started preparing and got much better results when I started preparing in a more effective way.
The official GMAT exam will test the candidate’s ability to manage time, handle pressure, apply the learned concept, and score better. GMAT math is logic, rather than general math skills, and success in it is entirely based on vital concepts, rigorous practice, complete knowledge of math question types and patterns, quick approaches, and time management.
After visiting the post, now is the time to start with the basics. To strengthen the basic concept on various topics like arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and word problems, you may refer to many free materials available in GMAT Club.
We will recommend you to register with Math Revolution: https://www.mathrevolution.com/member/signup to get access to our 7-days on-demand course for free trial lessons and free videos.
We recommend you learn a unique, alternative time-saving approach [Variable Approach to hit DS questions accurately in less time and IVY Approach for PS questions]. You can check the applications of the mentioned approaches on our various posts in the GMAT club.
Start with the lessons and complete the concept of learning. Make a habit of taking notes during the initial learning of the concepts. Try solving very easy questions by assessing practice sections.
