Hi Friends,

I am a Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience. I work in engineering and design field of Energy and Industry sector. I want to change my field and boost my career. I decided to do MBA from outside India. I am looking for a decent college in Canada. Recently, I gave GMAT and got a score of 630 (Q48 & V28). Other sectional scores are IR6 and AWA4.

I want a career in business finance and economics or strategy management or management consulting. I am targeting colleges such as Ted Rogers, Edwards, HEC Montreal, University of Alberta, John Molson and Haskayne etc. I have following questions in my mind:

Is my score sufficient for admission into these colleges?
Whether MBA from these college would help me to achieve my goals or not?
What are the job prospects after the course in Canada?

Thanks for your help in advance! Any advice from alumni of above college is highly appreciated.

Thanks for the above information. But I want to know if I should go ahead with the application or give GMAT again to improve the score.
In the first attempt, I prepared for 3 months and joined an in class coaching. I want to apply for 2019 intake so I think I have sometime to prepare.

What else I need to do to strengthen my profile?
