I am an international student who is planning to apply schools in
California Area.
I would like to know about the reputation of MBA program at Drucker
School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, specifically
after the death of Prof. Dracker in Nov. 2005. Does his death affect to
the reputation of the school.
It is really too soon to determine the effect. Overall, CGU is an interesting school. The Claremont liberal arts colleges (i.e. a non-research university) include some of the best known liberal arts colleges on the West coast and Drucker was one of the most respected figures in management yet the MBA program at CGU has been overshadowed by UCLA, USC, and Pepperdine. To be fair, I cannot think of any MBA program in the top clusters associated with a liberal arts college.
