If you want to strengthen your basic concepts then go to any forum that you like (Gmat club is also a good source) and go through the archives. You will really find those discussions useful. Alternatively you can join a yahoo forum called gmattuttor (it is fairly active and a lot of quant questions are discussed there)

but don't ignore OG.

4. OG - not done yet

You answered your own question :)

If you are weak, I can't recommend the Manhattan GMAT books enough - but they dont have (many) questions - its useful only if you need to LEARN HOW to solve the problems...

I think that's EXACTLY what I was looking for, learning HOW to solve:
- rate problems
- speed problems
- permutation, combination and probability

I've always been scared of these and took the Kaplan PAPER gmat test (full length in Kaplan Premier 2007 book, paper based) and got many of these wrong. Ended up with a disheartening score of 650 in my first pass.

Manhattan books have an awesome rate strategy. Ditto for speed. It makes it so easy... Permutation/combination and probability is also good in Manhattan, but not great.

Just got the word, fractions, and num properties... They look like they do alot to teach you how to solve specific problem areas... I think they will be helpful. I feel my score rising already!

Have you tried them yet? How are they?

I am about to order the Math ones that focus on Rate, Speed, P/C Probability, and Inequalities etc.
