barfer, don't assume that because quant is easy for you, that it's easy for everyone. Everyone has his own challenges, weaknesses, strengths and abilities.

Jovanne, I do believe you are needlessly stressing yourself out. It's very common for your scores to fluctuate as you prep. Take a break from timed tests and work on untimed practice questions with the Official Guide.

Also, be aware that Manhattan GMAT's tests are harder than the real test, esp for quant. They themselves admit that some of their quant questions involve too many steps to solve, more than we reasonably have time to do in the time allotted. So focus on official questions, take the GMATPrep tests, and maybe add the Princeton Review tests. They're much more accurate than MGMAT in my opinion.
redstripe, u'r right of course. But stats tells that testers perform better in Q-part than in V-part. But I repeat you're right I didn't consider others' ability. that's true. to my shame.

Do whatever it takes to calm yourself down before taking your test. Confidence is a factor that is often overlooked by many test takers. Try to eliminate the other factors that could adversely affect your performance. Take a lot of full length timed CATs leading up to your test date so you're used to the pacing and length of the GMAT. Drive to your test center the day before your test so you don't get lost on test day. Get plenty of sleep the night before test day. So many things can prevent you from performing up to your true potential. Eliminate as many of these things as you can and the chances that you will underperform on test day will be low!
